Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
ePresence is a service that helps busy professionals stay visible on LinkedIn by delivering AI-written post drafts via Telegram or email. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights around it. We've kept it plain — no legal maze.
What we collect
- Account details — your name, email address, delivery timezone, and content preferences when you sign up
- Writing sample — text you provide during onboarding so we can match your voice. This is the most personal data we hold.
- Telegram information — your Telegram username and chat ID, used to deliver posts and topics
- Topics and posts — the topics you select and the posts we generate for you, stored for up to 1 year
- Feedback — any feedback you send on posts, kept indefinitely to help us improve
- Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
How we use it
- Generating LinkedIn post drafts in your writing style
- Delivering topics and posts to you via Telegram
- Sending you onboarding instructions, account updates, and occasional product emails
- Improving the quality of posts over time using aggregated feedback
Third parties your data touches
Anthropic (Claude API) — your writing sample, selected topics, and post drafts are processed by Anthropic's API to generate content. Anthropic's privacy policy governs how they handle this data. We do not send your name or contact details to Anthropic.
- Telegram — all messages (topics, posts, your replies) pass through Telegram's infrastructure. Telegram's own privacy policy applies to that data.
- Stripe — handles all payment processing. We pass your name and email to create a Stripe customer record.
- Resend — used to send transactional emails (onboarding, receipts). Your name and email are shared for this purpose.
- Railway — our hosting provider. Your data is stored on Railway's infrastructure.
- Cloudflare — sits in front of our site for performance and security. Traffic to ePresence passes through Cloudflare's network.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with anyone beyond the services listed above.
Data retention
- Account data and writing sample — kept until you request deletion
- Generated posts — kept for 1 year, then automatically deleted
- Post feedback — kept indefinitely (anonymised in aggregate analysis)
- Payment records — retained by Stripe per their policies
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Stop sending you marketing emails (unsubscribe link in every email)
To exercise any of these, email us at [email protected].
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in to the admin area, and — if you sign in via email — a "remember this device" cookie so you don't have to re-enter a login code each time. No tracking cookies, no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll email you before they take effect. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version.
